Walking by ourself . . . sort of! :)
That's right, Lucy's walking around with the help of her little push cart! She will walk all the way across the living room by herself. However, when she hits the wall or another kind of barrier, she gets upset because she can't figure out how to turn around. She is rather proud of herself though and grins and giggles all the way around the room as she walks! Another big girl activity for this week has been drinking out of our sippy cup at meals! Lucy is getting an ounce or two at lunch and dinner from her cup now that she's figured it out! She doesn't seem to like to drink much any more (other than her morning and bed time bottle!) but hopefully she'll drink a little more now with her cup!
Below is a picture with Lucy's newest toy to her collection. We stopped by the Children's Trading Post today and this activity table caught Lucy's attention. She has enjoyed it all afternoon and cruises all around the table playing with the phone, the computer, the book, and the keyboard. Uncle David will love this toy too because it's got the same lady's voice as the piano and the mailbox! :)
Make sure to look in our 11 month folder for new pictures!

Who, me?
This little girl is going to be trouble with a capital T! She already knows how to poke out her lower lip to pout when she doesn't get her way and she is quickly becoming an expert at giving the "Who, me?" look whenever her Mommy or Daddy tell her "No." And she's only 11 months old. . . .I guess all of Michael's hair will soon be gray! :)

Back to Normal! :)
After a bad cold which turned into a double ear infection, Lucy is finally feeling like herself again! The poor little girl was so pitiful for almost a week - she wouldn't smile, she didn't want to play and while it was so nice to cuddle all the time with her, it just broke my heart to see her feel so bad! But as you can see, she's back!!
We played outside for a while today and I got to use my new camera. Here are a few pictures. Make sure to look in the Ten Month folder for more pictures. . . including an "action" sequence as Lucy makes her way to her piano - she LOVES that toy!

Happy Mother's Day!
Lucy has been sick all weekend, so most of my Mother's Day weekend has been spent cuddling with her. Not that I am complaining . . . she is so active all the time, it's rare that we get to sit and cuddle any more!! She has been running a fever since Thursday afternoon and we can't seem to get rid of it. The doctor said on Friday that it was just a cold, and she has had a runny nose and a little bit of a cough, but the fever just won't go away! We'll call back tomorrow and see if we need to bring her in again.
For my Mother's Day/my birthday/anniversary gift, I got a new Nikon camera and it is AMAZING!! Granted, I haven't had a lot of time to play with it much this weekend but so far I have enjoyed the little bit I have. So below, I have just a few pictures from this weekend . . .a few from around the house and a few of my pitiful little girl. Can't wait until she is feeling better!!!

Bed Time Buddies!!!
When walking past Lucy's room last night, I looked in (as I often do!) to check on her. . . I couldn't resist snapping a picture of this! Don't worry - she was so sound asleep she didn't notice the flash! And if you are concerned about lonely forgotten bunny over there, it's ok. This morning, when I went to get her up, she was laying next to him, holding his hand. :)
